so...i realized today that i was 4 projects behind in photography and chose to use the day to catch up. having said this, i decided, during a conversation with a friend, that i'm really disappointed with the Photo class that i'm taking which explains all the crap i've been posting. i'm looking forward to stop photographing chairs and shadows and getting back to some entertaining subject matter. here's some new crap...
here's my latest typography project. its a poster for an LAPHIL concert series coming up this year at the Disney concert hall. it's basically a study in the deconstruction of the traditional grid utilizing grid abstraction, hierarchy, and composition to inform both the design and potentially, the viewer.
here's a tast of one of the graphics i did for the NAAB (national architecture accreditation board) gallery which ended last week. this map showing all the countries woodbury is affiliated w/ is a 10'x6' vinyl cut graphic. the image doesn't do it justice.
